WE! face the challenges
Landeshauptstadt Dresden – Amt für Wirtschaftsförderung (City of Dresden – Office of Economic Development)
Innovative ideas grow in Dresden into the successful projects and products of tomorrow. Excellent research and development are closely interwoven – and benefit from the outstanding factors of the dynamic state capital. To support this process, the Office of Economic Development initiates targeted projects, the expansion of infrastructure and develops spaces for companies – from start-ups to major investors. We look forward to hearing from you!
Landesverband der Recyclingwirtschaft Sachsen e. V. (Regional Association of Recycling Businesses in Saxony)
Members of the Landesverband der Recyclingwirtschaft Sachsen e. V. (LVR Sachsen) are municipal and private waste disposal companies, logistics companies, engineering firms and several associations, such as FIRE e. V. or IG KURIS e. V. The association sees itself as an interest group, partner for the recycling industry in the Free State of Saxony and communication platform. In line with its interest in innovation, the association is supported by a scientific advisory board.
Leibniz-Institut für ökologische Raumentwicklung
Research at the Leibniz Institute for Ecological Urban and Regional Development (IÖR) aims to accelerate and implement far-reaching transformations that make regions, cities and neighbourhoods sustainable and resilient. We are investigating how the materiality of the built environment can be developed into a circular system by exploiting potentials from technical and social innovations and how this can be linked to questions of urban planning, and we are linking this to approaches of transformation research.
Leibniz-Institut für Polymerforschung
A major focus of the research work at the Leibniz Institut für Polymerforschung (IPF) is on the development of sustainable fibre and polymer materials, polymer coatings for fibre modification and the design and manufacture of fibre-reinforced composite components. In addition to material development, the IPF offers comprehensive possibilities for the processing of continuous, long and short fibre-reinforced polymer matrices, which represent a fundamental prerequisite for research work on the recycling and cascade use of recycled reinforcing fibres and polymer materials.
Leichtbau-Zentrum Sachsen GmbH
Leichtbau-Zentrum Sachsen GmbH (LZS) is one of the leading development partners in the field of function-integrative lightweight system construction in multi-material design in Germany. We offer the entire range of services for modern component and system development: From feasibility studies to design, characterisation, structure and process simulation, manufacturing and component testing. Recyclates should also find their place in the mix of materials. The cross-sector product development is accompanied by certified quality management.
About the partnership
Be part of the alliance and join us in facing the challenges with regard to the no longer avoidable handling of fiber composites. Let us together lead the region “Elbe Valley Saxony” into an economically resilient future.
